is deeply concerned as Mr. Naser Amin; a lawyer and the Secretary
General of the Arab Center for the Independence of
Judiciary and Legal Profession. On Friday, December 13, 2002 Mr. Amin
was heading to Amman, Jordon to participate in the Regional Conference
of Experts on the “The International Criminal Code and the Arab
world”; The conference that was organized by the Strategic
Studies Center at Amman

without clarifying the reason behind this.

to the freedom of transportation and in contradiction with article 41
of the Egyptian constitution which affirms that individual freedom is
a natural right; the free movement is a core individual freedom. Also,
this incident breaches article 12 of the International Covenant on the
Civil and Political which grants the liberty of movement to every one.
