NGO tools for the support and protection of human rights: training camp for EOHR members

EOHR is holding a training camp for its members entitled NGO tools for the support and protection of human rights. It will take place in Ismailiyyia from the 10th-13th December 2004, which coincides with International Human Rights Day.
A group of human rights activists and jurists will be giving lecture during the camp, which aims to introduce participants to tools used by local and international human rights organizations. Participants will be shown techniques for writing reports and press releases and monitoring and documenting human rights violations. They will also be introduced to the concept and meaning of "civil society" and its current importance.
