The Egyptian Organization for Human Rights, Egypt's oldest human rights NGO, is seeking a full-time translator.
Based within its international relations and translation department, the job involves editing and translation of EOHR's human rights publications from both Arabic - English and English - Arabic, as well as some administrative tasks. The suitable candidate will be versatile, have word processing skills, be fluent in Arabic and have a near - native level of written English. Previous experience is a distinct advantage, as is knowledge of, and interest in human rights. Those selected for interview will be asked to provide a one-page sample translation during the interview.
