Observatory mission to monitor 2005 Parliamentary Elections

Civil Society and National Campaign Election Monitoring Observatory decided to monitor the upcoming Parliamentary Elections, for guaranteeing fair free elections and to eliminate any violations.

Hafez Abu Seada, Secretary General of the Egyptian Organization for Human Rights (EOHR) and the Public Coordinator of Civil Society Coalition and Mohamed Zarei, Chair of Arab Organization for Criminal Reform and the Public Coordinator for National Campaign Election Monitoring decided to monitor the electoral campaigns activities and the voting process in twenty-six governorates. The monitoring process will work over the three electoral stages (9 November - December 2005).

Both Civil Society and National Campaign Election Monitoring will issue reports on the results of the electoral monitoring process determining all the violations.
