Abu Seada: EOHR is not a member in the Egyptian Democratic Support Network

Hafez Abu Seada, Secretary-General of the Egyptian Organization for Human Rights denounces the membership of EOHR in the Egyptian Democratic Support Network headed by Dr. Saad el Deen Ibrahim, chair of Ibn Khaldoon Centre's board of trustees.
Moreover, Abu Seada confirmed that EOHR apologised for Dr. Ibrahim for not attending the first meeting of the Network via sending a dispatch describing the reasons:
First reason:
The Network's main principle statement declaring 'Ibn Khaldoon Centre succeeds in having the civil society organizations' membership, including the Egyptian Organization for Human Rights and more………….'. The Network mentioned EOHR's name without taking the permission of EOHR's board, and they didn't mention the Network's goals or activities …etc. This statement discarded their propagated talk about democracy and transparency, accordingly Abu Seada called for amending the statement's paragraph which stated false information about EOHR's membership in the Network.
Second reason:
The statement also lacks objectivity and transparency, in which they deal with the issues according to their private opinion discarding the main principles of the collective talk, the Network mobilize all the main activities, and discard the NGOs effective role describing it an additional. Moreover, the statement lacks the democratic standards of the networks' formation, also the Network board's dealing with the membership; contradict with their mentioned democratic standards.
