The Egyptian Organization for Human Rights started networking with a group of Palestinian and Lebanese personnel, international law professors, Arab civil society organizations and human rights activists to organize a conference aiming to take basic measures in suing Israeli war criminals.
This step taken by EOHR comes as a part of the recommendations came to floor at the closure of the round-table discussion held by EOHR, entitled, "Legal tools for suing Israeli war criminals on their crimes in Lebanon and Palestine", which took place on Monday August 7th 2006.
EOHR has received some feedbacks from Palestinian human rights organizations, such as " The Palestinian Independent Commission for Citizens' Rights", which stated its willingness to join the Arab Commission for Suing of Israeli War Criminals.
Accordingly, EOHR decided to establish an Arab national front with the task of drafting a legal framework that would put an end to the human rights violations committed by Israel in Lebanon and Palestine.
